THANK YOU
I’d like to start with some gratitude. Thank you for getting a ticket for BHAN’s first birthday tonight.
Thank you for trusting us with your time, your energy and your presence.
It means a lot that you’ve chosen to spend your Friday evening with us, and we can’t wait to celebrate BHAN’s first birthday with you.
DJ REVEAL
I know we said our line-up would remain unannounced, but by now we can finally unveil the secret: ASCH PINTURA WILL BE HEADLINING BHAN TONIGHT.
We asked Asch to guide us gently into the journey, starting with space to breathe and ground, then taking us all the way into one final hour of proper techno cardio.
Let’s show Asch how BHANners rave. Tonight, we’re placing ourselves in her hands. Trust the journey, surrender to the music, and let her take us wherever she wants to go.

There are bike racks at the front entrance on Eastway.

TIMELINE
6.30 pm to 8 pm: social time
8 pm to 11 pm: BHAN time
11 pm to 11.30 pm: decompress time
11.30 pm: everyone’s out, otherwise I will miss the last train to north-west London!
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY
Please arrive between 6.30 pm and 7 pm if you can.
This is our social time. A chance to settle in, meet people, have a little boogie and find your balance before the journey begins.
The social time is as important as the BHAN time and talking is welcome and encouraged during this section.
DOORS CLOSE AT 8 PM
At 8 pm, the music will pause for a few minutes so we can transition into BHAN time together.
I’ll make a few announcements and gentle reminders before the journey begins.
From the moment the music starts again, the dancefloor becomes word-free.
NOTE FOR LATECOMERS
If you expect to be late, please reply to this email and let us know.
And if you do arrive after the journey has started, please enter the dancefloor gently and on your tiptoes — especially during the ambient section of the set.
We will welcome you with open arms — and probably closed eyes.
THE JOURNEY ENDS AT 11 PM
The music will end at 11 pm, but we invite you to stay until 11.30 pm.
Those final 30 minutes are for decompressing, reconnecting, gathering your things calmly and saying goodbye.
You can now take your phones back and exchange contact details with the BHANners you connected with earlier.
FOOD + DRINKS
Food and drinks will be available to buy at the venue. The bar/café will be open, and the pizza truck will also be serving food.
Please do not bring your own food or drinks. If you need to bring something specific for your wellbeing, such as a snack or medication, please speak to a member of staff.
Please keep all food and drinks off the dancefloor. Only water is allowed on it.
A PHONE-FREE DANCEFLOOR
Phones are not allowed on the dancefloor.
Please leave yours in the cloakroom, at the side of the dancefloor, or in the special orange BHAN phone box in front of the DJ booth.
If you need to use your phone for any reason, just step off the dancefloor first. Just for a few hours, let yourself forget that your phone exists.
LET THE BODY DO THE TALKING
During BHAN time, the dancefloor becomes word-free.
You can still shout, cry, laugh and sing out loud — anything that makes sense in the here and now.
Let the music take over. Use your movement, your eyes and your body language to connect. Let’s connect beyond words.
BE KIND
Consent, as always, is paramount. If you’d like to dance with someone, open your arms towards them.
If they mirror the gesture, that’s a yes. If they bring their hands together in a prayer gesture, please take that as a no and give them space.
Please read the room, respect other people’s energy and boundaries, and — especially if you are a man — remember that BHAN is not a cruising space.
BE HERE AND NOW
Tonight is about presence, surrender, connection and joy.
Whether you’re dancing completely sober or exploring the night as a psychonaut, you are equally welcome on our dancefloor.
Just know your limits and respect everyone’s space and energy.
You might lose yourself in the music tonight.
But don’t worry: you will find yourself again at the end of the journey.
